Bachelorette Party Morning After

Went to Chicago for a bachelorette party. We stayed out until 3 am. So needless to say, coffee was a must the next day. I made the coffee, but I spilled the water on the counter as I was making it.

Coffee: Kona Blend from Archer Farms (aka Target). It was really good. I often wonder how much Kona is really in the Kona blend, but it had a good medium taste. I've always thought Target coffee is good for the price.

The Side Pour

Well, I'm not caught up an all the spills, yet they keep coming. So here are a fee more recent ones and I'll finish up the summer soon. This bag of coffee, when I bought opened it didn't open easily, so there are 3 holes in the packaging near the top. So, often when I pour the grounds into the coffee maker, some of them pour out the side through one of the holes... it's a delicate process really.

Coffee: House Blend, from Starbucks.  I'm sure everyone has had this coffee, I personally don't like it that much, but it's left over coffee from camp.

Summer - Part 3

More updates from this summer.

7-14-09

I spent some time drawing this summer and I drew my coffee cup. Then coffee was spilled on the drawing. It couldn't have been better. It should be confessed that I didn't actually spill this cup, one of the campers bumped into it.

7-23-09

It's hard to see but there is a drip just to the bottom right of the french press.

I spilled coffee on my journal. for some reason I was bored that day and I was copying the Cheetos logo.

Coffee dripping down my hand.

Spilled coffee on my foot too, check out how nast my foot is. It is pretty difficult to stay clean when camping for 3 months.

Summer - Part 2

These are some more updates from the summer. Probably a third round will be coming soon.

6-20-09

Looks like I spilled some on the picnic table.

And a spill on my journal

6-22-09

Accidentally kicked my cup one morning when I left it sitting on the porch.

7-1-09

Dripping from my chin...

to my shirt.

And this is from the beginning of my first break from camp. I spilled coffee on the floor of the Coffee Ethic, my fav coffee place in Springfield. There was actually a bunch more spills on this trip to the Ethic but my camera died. If I remember right, I was drinking the Sumatra, and it's always good...made on the Clover.

Summer - Part 1

Hi All,
I'm sure I've lost anyone who read this, but I'm back from a summer in the wilderness. As promised I took lots of photos. I didn't catch every spill, but I hope I don't leave anyone disappointed either. Here are just a a few of this summers spills.

On the ground.

This is where I made coffee every morning.

Here is the mug I used a lot this summer.

At the Ethic before the summer

This post is way way after the fact, but a friend emailed me these photos we took before I left for the summer. I can't remember the story, chances are that I was just clumsy today. You can see the coffee on the table and my arm.

Reunion Tour

You may recognize these coffee mugs, on Thursday I drove down to my of place of employment to see some old friends. We had coffee time as usual and I spilled the grounds on the counter. I'm excited to say they've upgraded. Instead of having coffee in the downstairs kitchen, or in the other building, publications now has their own coffee room. I believe this actually happened during caffternoon.

This next one is a guest spill, my former coworker spilled coffee on the table while filling everyone's mug.

Coffee: Arabian Mocha Sanani from Starbucks, mixed with Terra Del Soul from Archer Farms.
I wouldn't typically recommend just randomly slamming two coffee types together, but two nearly empty bags lends itself to creativity. Its hard to sat if either of these would be awesome on their own. I will say I've been told the Sanani is amazing and look forward to drinking that unaltered, and hopefully made in a french press.
